Privacy Policy
NoobProMax has no accounts and asks for nothing about you. This page explains what is nevertheless stored, why, and who else can see it.

The short version
There is no sign-up, so NoobProMax never learns your name, email address or password — it has nowhere to put them. What it does store is the content of the workspaces you open, because that content has to be on a server for a second person to receive it.
Treat an ordinary workspace URL as unlisted, not as private. Anyone who knows or guesses the address can read and edit what is in it. If you need real confidentiality, use an end-to-end encrypted room — described below.
What is stored
- Workspace content. The text in a workspace, plus its language and version-history snapshots, is stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database so collaborators can sync and so you can reopen the URL later.
- Presence data. While a workspace is open, a randomly generated display label and your cursor position are broadcast to the other people in that same workspace. This is transient and is discarded when you close the tab.
- Local preferences. Your theme, font size and word-wrap settings are kept in your own browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and operational purposes.
NoobProMax runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no fingerprinting of any kind.
End-to-end encrypted rooms
When you create an encrypted room, the encryption key is placed in the URL fragment — the part after the #. Browsers never transmit the fragment to a server, so the key stays on the devices of the people you share the link with. What reaches the database is ciphertext, unreadable to us and to anyone who obtains the stored data.
The consequence is that we cannot recover an encrypted room for you. If the link is lost, the content is unrecoverable.
Cookies and advertising
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to noobpromax.com and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
Advertising is shown only on this site's informational pages. Ads are never served inside a workspace editor.
Third-party services
- Google Firebase — stores and synchronises workspace content. Governed by the Firebase privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosts and serves the site, and keeps the request logs described above.
- Google AdSense — serves advertising on the informational pages, subject to the Google privacy & terms.
Retention and removal
Workspace content persists until it is overwritten or removed. Because there are no accounts, we cannot tie a workspace to a person, which means we cannot verify who is entitled to delete one. If you want the contents of a specific workspace cleared, email the address below with the workspace URL and we will remove it.
Children
NoobProMax is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
